Marwan Kheireddine Believes Lebanese Youth Are The Future
Marwan Kheireddine has always seen value in Lebanon’s youth, and he aims to empower young business leaders to reach their potential. Marwan Kheireddine is a professor at AUB who specializes in teaching commercial banking, risk management, and an introduction to financial analysis.
Kheireddine believes that the youth are the country’s biggest asset, and he is committed to helping them reach their full potential. He understands that it is essential to invest in the youth to create a brighter future for Lebanon.
Marwan Kheireddine has taught more than 1200 students, and they tell him how he has impacted their lives whenever they meet. He has served on the board of trustees for AUB Business School for a decade, assisting the school with creating its academic programs. He is also a member of the board of trustees for the American Community School Beirut.
Kheireddine is a founding member of the board of directors of the Lebanon chapter of Endeavor, which supports entrepreneurship in Lebanon.
Kheireddine has also been a leader in promoting community-minded business practices. He launched YOUTHinc. to support young Lebanese entrepreneurs and help boost the economy. Circular 331 helped develop the program, which encourages investment in new startup businesses. Kheireddine’s goal is to create a new generation of Lebanese entrepreneurs who will help drive economic growth.
Marwan also helped to introduce Virgin Megastores to Lebanon, creating more jobs for locals, including young people. With the help of Richard Branson, he managed to open the first Virgin Megastore in Lebanon in 2001.
Kheireddine helped organize many concerts, including one featuring Bryan Adams, the “Summer of ’69”. This concert became an important part of Lebanon’s pop culture.
The Former Minister of State has always been a strong advocate of the private sector in Lebanon and has shown a particular interest in supporting youth-led projects.
